Katie Brown is an experienced content writer currently employed at Mariners Church since August 2020. Prior to this role, Katie served as the Director of Student Ministry at First Presbyterian Church Bakersfield from September 2018 to August 2020, and as a Rising Students Intern at Rising Church from October 2016 to August 2018. Additional experience includes working as a Social Media Strategist at Focus on the Family, a CCA Leadership Dean at Forest Home, and a Storytelling Ministry Intern at Saddleback Church, among other positions in various organizations. Katie holds a Journalism degree from Azusa Pacific University, where attendance spanned from 2012 to 2015, and engaged in freelance writing during that time.
