Alyssa Hrycyshyn has a substantial amount of experience in the healthcare industry. Alyssa started their career as a Service Contract Sales Coordinator/Customer Service Associate at BD in 2001. Alyssa then transitioned into roles such as Team Leader and Product Manager, specializing in immunocytometry systems. In 2009, they joined Cardinal Health Canada as a Sr. Marketing Manager, where they stayed until 2014. From 2014 to 2015, Alyssa worked as a Sr. Market Manager at CareFusion. Alyssa then moved on to BD again in 2015, where they held the position of Market Development Manager and later became the Director of Marketing for Medication Management Solutions from 2016 to 2019. After leaving BD, they served as the Vice President of Marketing at Covalon Technologies Ltd. from 2019 to 2022 and at Myant Inc. from 2022 to 2023. Currently, Alyssa holds the role of Vice President of Operations at Mariner Endosurgery.

Alyssa Hrycyshyn obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Waterloo from 1997 to 2001. Alyssa then pursued an MBA in Marketing & Corporate Strategy from the Schulich School of Business at York University from 2006 to 2009. In 2022, they completed a certificate in Leading in a Remote Environment from Harvard Business School Online. Additionally, in the same year, they studied Corporate Governance: Maximize Your Effectiveness in the Boardroom at Wharton Executive Education.
