Edd Couchman has a strong work experience background in the engineering and technology industry. Edd started their career at aedis as a Web Developer, where they introduced separation layers for front-end development. Edd then joined Vuture as a Senior Developer, responsible for client website and template builds. At Vuture, they also customized the Vx application for clients' needs, including developing a bespoke Vx Print module for Knight Frank. Following this, Edd became a Technical Manager at Vuture, before moving on to Redheat Consulting Limited as a CTO. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Engineering at Marigold, where they manage and scales engineering, operations, and customer support teams. Edd is known for their ability to build and maintain client relationships, as well as explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Edd Couchman completed a BSc (hons) degree in Multimedia Technology and Design from Brunel University London from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended The Judd School in Tonbridge from 1996 to 2003, but no degree or field of study was mentioned.
