Ruben Riosa, PhD, currently serves as a Medical Communications Manager at Excerpta Medica BV - Adelphi Group since November 2021, where responsibilities include providing scientific and strategic support for medical communications projects, developing medical education materials, and mentoring new team members. Ruben also holds the position of Communications Manager at the Marie Curie Alumni Association, overseeing all communication-related activities and publications. Previously, Ruben completed a PhD in Animal Sciences at The University of Bonn and a concurrent PhD in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Glasgow, along with roles such as Associate Editor at Angle Journal and Researcher at MANNA - EJD. Educational background includes a Master’s degree in Science and Technology of Animal Production and a Bachelor’s degree in Breeding and Animal Health, complemented by various traineeships and a summer school program in communication and journalism.
