H. Jaishree Subrahmaniam, PhD, is an accomplished program developer and leader at Lotus STEMM since January 2020, currently serving as the Chair of the Science Policy Working Group for the Marie Curie Alumni Association and as a Guest Advisor for Open Research Europe. Subrahmaniam has also held roles as an External Policy Advisor and Board Member for the Initiative for Science in Europe and as a Content Editor for 1 Million Women In STEM. A Vice President and Editor in Chief for the Scicomm group, Subrahmaniam previously completed a Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions Individual Fellowship at the Institut for Ecoscience - Aarhus Universitet. Additional experiences include a research associate position with NAAC in India and research roles at Columbia University and Delhi University. Subrahmaniam earned a PhD in Plant Ecological Genomics from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III and holds a Master's degree in Botany from Delhi University, along with a Bachelor's degree from Miranda House College.
