Surjit Mehendale is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience spanning over 15 years in financial management and accounting. Currently serving as Senior Manager at MariApps Marine Solutions since March 2022, Surjit previously held the position of Head of Finance and Accounting at Goodwood Ship Management Pte. Ltd. from April 2008 to February 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing financial control, group accounting, and relationship management with clients and stakeholders, as well as leading audit teams and implementing accounting systems. Surjit’s career began with roles at EMS Ship Management as an Accountant and Deloitte (S B Billimoria Co) as an Assistant Manager, focusing on financial reporting and audits across various sectors. Surjit holds an Associate Chartered Valuer and Appraiser designation from the Institute of Valuers and Appraisers of Singapore, is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Pune.
