Velissarios Zamparas is a Senior Data Scientist at Marcura since February 2023, with previous experience as a Data Science Consultant and Team Lead at Accenture, where Velissarios focused on developing churn predictive models for the insurance sector. Prior roles include Data Scientist in Credit Risk at Tesco Bank, where Velissarios led credit risk predictive model projects, and Quantitative Analyst at abrdn, where Velissarios developed stock selection applications. Velissarios also interned at abrdn in data science, participated in a data mining internship at NCSR "DEMOKRITOS," and began their career as a Radio DJ and Producer. Velissarios holds an MSc in Data Science from the University of Glasgow and an MEng in Computer Engineering & Informatics from the University of Patras.
