Alice Kharoubi is an accomplished film programmer and talent development leader, currently serving as the Head of Red Sea Souk Talents and International Programmer for Shorts & Kids at the Red Sea Film Foundation since 2019. Additionally, Alice Kharoubi holds the position of Head of Cannes Makers and Director of Cinemas Programming at Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes since November 2018. Involved with the Festival de Cannes since 2006, Alice Kharoubi is a key member of the Selection Committee for Short Film in Competition and leads the Cannes Court Métrage. Other notable roles include serving on the Selection Committee for Poitiers Film Festival from 2016 to 2022 and programming shorts for the Geneva International Film Festival from 2010 to 2018. Previous experience includes international programming for the Abu Dhabi Film Festival and co-founding the Festival de Cinema Politic in Barcelona. Alice Kharoubi's educational background includes studies at Florida International University and specialized Spanish classes.
