Navin Thawani has a long and varied work experience. Navin began their career in 2007 as an Undergraduate Intern for U.S. Senator Thomas R. Carper in the United States Senate. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as an Analyst for Barclays Capital. Navin then moved to Morgan Stanley, where they served as an Associate from 2011 to 2017, and then as a Senior Associate from 2017 to 2018. In 2016, they became an MBA Candidate and Student Government President at Georgetown University McDonough School of Business. In 2017, they were a Summer Associate at Goldman Sachs in Investment Management. From 2018 to 2021, they were a Principal at Foundry Capital, a growth equity firm that provides capital and strategic support for innovative companies across the U.S. and Canada. In 2021, they became the Chief Financial Officer of Würk, which was No. 73 on the 2020 Inc. 5000 List of fastest growing U.S. companies. Navin was also Managing Partner of Marchay, which was No. 1,368 on the 2020 Inc. 5000 List of fastest growing U.S. companies.
Navin Thawani received a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Delaware. Navin then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, which they completed in 2018.
