Jennifer Sedlmeyer-Johansen has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Jennifer started their career in 2001 as a Team Coordinator at Inova Fairfax Hospital NICU. Jennifer then served as the Director of Perinatal Outreach Programs at Inova Health System from 2003 to 2007. After that, they worked as a Clinical Practice Specialist at Inova Health System for more than 12 years. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Professional Education at March of Dimes since November 2019.
Jennifer Sedlmeyer-Johansen earned a Diversity Equity and Inclusion Post Graduate Certificate from Cornell University in 2021. Jennifer obtained an MSN degree with a focus on Nursing Administration and completed a Fellowship in Public Health at George Mason University from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned a BSN degree in Nursing from James Madison University between 1995 and 1998. Jennifer also briefly studied nursing at Georgetown University in 1994. Jennifer'searly education includes attending Bishop Denis J. O'Connell High School from 1989 to 1993.
