Danielle Howells Procopio, MPH, CHES has a diverse work experience in marketing and communications roles in various organizations. Danielle is currently the Director of Mission Marketing at March of Dimes, where they provide leadership for all marketing communications efforts for the organization's mission, research, global, and advocacy programs. Danielle also develops and implements comprehensive mission marketing and communications strategies. Prior to this role, Danielle served as the Associate Director of Volunteer Marketing at March of Dimes, where they led marketing communications efforts for volunteer engagement programs and ensured the integration of the organization's mission into internal and external communications.
In addition to their work at March of Dimes, Danielle has also worked as a Consultant at 1795 Group, where they provide consulting services. Danielle has previously held the position of Corporate Director of Marketing, Sales & Communication at Shepherd Of The Valley Lutheran Retirement Services, Inc., where they directed and oversaw all marketing, sales, and communication efforts for the organization's communities and home health services.
Danielle has also worked as the Community Relations Director at SouthernCare, a multi-county hospice provider. In this role, they supervised the sales and admissions team and developed and implemented a comprehensive marketing plan. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Associate at Family Health Council (Adagio Health). Danielle has also held various positions at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, including Community Liaison and Graduate Assistant in the Office of Greek Life. Furthermore, Danielle worked as the Data Collection Manager at The HOPE Project and held research and teaching assistant roles at The University of Toledo, where they also served as a Wellness Coordinator.
Danielle Howells Procopio, MPH, CHES obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health from The University of Toledo in 2003. Danielle then went on to pursue a Master of Public Health degree in Health Behavior & Health Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completing it in 2005. In the same year, they obtained the certification of Certified Health Education Specialist from the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.
