John Pitt is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and product procurement. Pitt served as a Project Manager at March Networks from March 2012 until retirement, overseeing new product introductions from concept to general availability. Prior to this role, Pitt worked at Alcatel-Lucent from January 2001 to March 2012 as a Product Procurement Manager and Project Manager, focusing on advanced procurement and new product introduction. Earlier career experience includes serving as the Manager of Project Management in Central Engineering at Nortel Networks from December 1989 to January 2001, where responsibilities included product rationalization and new product introduction, and as a Process Engineering and Production Manager at Microtel (GE) from May 1982 to December 1989. Pitt holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from St Laurence College, completed between 1979 and 1982.
