Sherlie Okimoto has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sherlie most recently worked as a Sales Associate at Marc Jacobs starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Freelance Editor for Edu Planning starting in July 2022.

Sherlie also has extensive experience at NOVA HOLDINGS CO.,LTD., where they held various roles over the years. Sherlie worked as a Project Manager from May 2020 to June 2022, creating content for online English courses and focusing on student enrollment and engagement. Before that, they served as a Content Writer from April 2019 to June 2022, producing English learning materials and handling translation and proofreading tasks. Sherlie's tenure at NOVA also included roles as an Instructor from June 2012 to April 2019 and as an Instructor Support Manager from September 2014 to August 2015.

Prior to their time at NOVA, Sherlie worked as a Sales Associate at Macy's from November 2011 to May 2012 and as a Registrar at St. Andrew's Priory School from May 2011 to May 2012.

Sherlie Okimoto obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in East Asian Languages and Literatures with a focus on Japanese from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Sherlie pursued this degree from 2008 to 2011. In 2009 and 2010, they also participated in a Japanese Language Program at Waseda University. No degree was obtained from Waseda University during this period.
