Max Walters is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in inventory accounting and financial controls. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Inventory Accounting at Marathon Petroleum Corporation since 2017, Max is a key member of the SAP S/4 HANA ERP implementation team and acts as a liaison for the Derivatives group. Previously, Max held multiple senior managerial roles at Andeavor from 2007 to 2017, including building an Accounting Oversight team, overseeing financial controls, and managing government reporting and corporate accounting functions. Earlier career experience includes positions at Core-Mark International and Arnold Machinery Company, where Max demonstrated proficiency in financial management and compliance. Max holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Illinois State University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Utah State University.
