Marco Pavone is an accomplished professional in the field of autonomous systems and aeronautics, currently serving as the Director of Autonomous Vehicle Research at NVIDIA since February 2021 and an Associate Professor at Stanford University, where Marco also directs the Autonomous Systems Lab. Pavone has been a Technical Advisor for Marain since October 2018 and previously held the role of Assistant Professor at Stanford from February 2012 to October 2018. Earlier experience includes working as a Research Technologist at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and a Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where Marco earned a Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics. Pavone also holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Università di Catania.
