Ivan Cheung has worked for several companies since 2004. Ivan began their career at Hong Kong Polytechnic University as a Project Assistant (RFID Automation Center) in 2004. Ivan then moved to OOCL in 2007, where they worked as a Business Analyst until 2011. In 2011, they joined Hellmann Worldwide Logistics as an Assistant Project Manager - Regional IS, Asia. In 2013, they returned to OOCL, where they held the roles of Deputy Manager - Global Project Implementation Team, Assistant Manager - Global Project Implementation Team, and Senior Business Analyst - Strategic Liner Products until 2017. In 2017, they moved to CargoSmart Limited as a Product Manager. Currently, Ivan is the Product Director at Mapxus, where they are responsible for articulating product vision, strategy, and roadmap, and overseeing end-to-end product design, development, and product delivery.

Ivan Cheung began their educational journey at St Paul's Co-educational College in 2001. Ivan then attended The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where they obtained a BSc(Hons) in Enterprise Engineering and E-Business in 2004. Ivan continued their studies at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, graduating with an MPhil in Supply Chain Management, RFID, and ECommerce in 2008. In 2010, Ivan received a Professional Diploma in Six Sigma and Process Improvement from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. In addition to their formal education, Ivan has also obtained certifications in ITIL Foundation in December 2012 and Registered Quality Professional (Black Belt) from the Six Sigma Institute in May 2011.
