Ov Kitaev

CTO at MAPP Trap

OV Kitaev has had extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Their most recent position was as the CTO at MAPP Trap starting in 2019. Prior to that, they held the role of Chief Software Architect & CTO at LandWorks from 2012 to 2018. In this role, they managed the development and maintenance of land record management systems and implemented various technological advancements.

Before LandWorks, they worked as a Software Engineer at Channel IQ (acquired by Market Track) in 2011 and as a Software Architect at InstaBid Software from 2009 to 2010. OV also served as the Director of Software Engineering at Propel Labs from 2007 to 2009, where they were responsible for designing and implementing software applications for analytical flow cytometry.

Prior to that, OV Kitaev worked as a Principal Software Architect at Applied Spatial Technologies from 2006 to 2007, developing GPS- and SMS-based applications for smart phones. OV also has experience as a Senior Software Engineer at DAKO-Cytomation from 2000 to 2006, specializing in flow cytometry data acquisition and analytics.

OV Kitaev began their career as a Software Engineer at NIDI, Netherlands Interdisciplinary Demographic Institute from 1995 to 1997. Overall, they have demonstrated a strong expertise in software development, architecture, and engineering across multiple industries.

OV Kitaev began their education in 1987 at the Technological Academy in Voronezh, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Automation of Technological Processes. OV successfully completed their bachelor's degree in 1992. Following this, they enrolled at the Institute for System Analysis in Moscow, Russia in 1993, to pursue a Ph.D. in Management in Social and Economic Systems. Their candidacy continued until 1997.
