Deepak Bhandari is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer for the Pork Complex at Maple Leaf Foods Inc, a position held since September 2024. Prior to this role, Deepak held various leadership positions at High Liner Foods from September 2020 to September 2024, including Interim Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis and Strategy. Deepak also served as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Andrew Peller Limited from November 2018 to September 2020. Earlier in the career, Deepak spent over 13 years at Maple Leaf Foods Inc in multiple finance roles, beginning as a Finance Manager and advancing to Sr. Director of Finance for FP&A and Prepared Meats. The experience also includes a tenure at Ford Motor Company as a Senior Financial Analyst from May 2000 to November 2005. Deepak Bhandari holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance from Schulich School of Business and a BSc in Genetics from the University of Alberta, complementing a strong financial acumen with a diverse educational background.
