Dr. Matylewicz is a physician board certified in Addiction Medicine and Family Medicine. He has practiced medicine in Pennsylvania for the past 25 years specializing in Addiction Medicine. He has over 15 years of experience in both residential and outpatient addiction treatment. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Scranton and graduated from The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he received a US Army Health Professions Scholarship. Prior to medical school, he served as a special weapons officer with the US Army. Dr. Matylewicz specializes in the treatment of medically complex addiction cases and works closely with the clinical director and therapy teams in developing an individualized treatment plan. His interests include opiate use disorders and the use of MAT (medically assisted treatment) as a therapeutic tool in recovery. He is married with three adult children and enjoys the outdoors. He has been the Pennsylvania Medical Director for MAP for the past two years and enjoys participating in this unique and progressive form of recovery management for addiction and mental health disorders.
