Gerald Giaimo has over 30 years of experience in the flavor and fragrance industry. Gerald has held various roles in companies such as Firmenich, IMS Health, Givaudan, Inversiones Perfumessence, Siofra International SAS, Scentium Flavours (Iberchem Group), and Manus Bio.

In 1988, Gerald began their career as an Account Executive at Firmenich. In 1993, they moved to IMS Health as a Marketing Manager. Gerald then joined Givaudan in 1994 as an Area Manager for Flavors and a Country Manager and Regional (Latam) Account Manager for the Quaker-Gatorade account. In 2000, they became Regional Sales Director at Inversiones Perfumessence, responsible for a direct sale business of cosmetics and personal care products.

In 2011, Gerald became Owner and Principal at Siofra International SAS. Gerald then joined Scentium Flavours (Iberchem Group) in 2018 as Flavors Director for the Andean Region. Most recently, Gerald has been working as Andean Region Sales Manager at Manus Bio since 2021.

Gerald Giaimo attended INALDE Business School from 2003 to 2004, where they obtained a Programa de Alta Dirección Empresarial in Gerencia. Gerald then attended Universidad Central de Venezuela from 1976 to 1982, where they obtained a Licenciado en Biología in Tecnología de Alimentos.
