Gary Eller

Senior Manager of Fermentation Sciences at Manus Bio

Gary Eller has over 40 years of work experience in the field of biotechnology. Gary began their career in 1978 as a Research Assistant at the Medical College of Georgia, where they conducted medical research in enzymes and protein purification, with a focus on metabolic disorders in children, particularly PKU. In 1985, they joined The NutraSweet Company as a Fermentation Scientist, where they were responsible for culture and process development at pilot and large scale production, as well as managing the Micro lab and fermentation Pilot Plant. In 2012, they moved to Elanco as an Associate Scientist, and in 2018 they began their current role as Senior Manager of Fermentation Sciences at Manus Biosynthesis.

Gary Eller attended Medical Careers from 1984 to 1985, studying Biochemistry. Gary then attended Shorter University-College of Adult & Professional Programs from 1974 to 1978, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General.
