Jason Leclair is an experienced mining professional with a strong background in ventilation and development engineering. Currently working at Barrick Gold Corporation since May 2017, Jason holds multiple roles including Survey/Ventilation Coordinator and Senior Development Engineer, responsible for coordinating the Development team at the Williams Operating Corporation (WOC) Hemlo site to optimize safe ore and waste extraction. Additionally, Jason serves as Undermanager at Manroc Developments Inc. and as Development Superintendent at Barrick Gold Hemlo Operations. Jason's prior experience includes positions as Senior Ventilation Technician and Mine Ventilation Technician at Barrick Gold Corporation, and Mine Technician at North American Palladium Ltd. Jason holds a Mine Engineering Technician degree from Cambrian College and a Mining Techniques diploma from Confederation College.
