Kassandra O'Brien has over 12 years of experience in various supply chain and operations management roles. Kassandra is currently serving as the Associate Director of Supply Operations at MannKind Corporation, where they oversee the commercial production of multiple product lines in the biopharmaceutical and medical device industry. Prior to their current role, Kassandra was the Supply Chain Manager at Cirtec Medical, where they managed manufacturing sites and ensured the sustained production of implantable medical devices. Kassandra also worked as a Supply Chain Manager at Collins Aerospace, where they handled purchasing and subcontracts for two manufacturing facilities in the aerospace industry. Kassandra has experience in project management as well, having served as an Assistant Project Manager at Fabbrica Building Facades, managing a $14m project focused on unitized curtainwall design and installation. Kassandra has also worked in the purchasing and project management teams at Barnes & Noble College, where they supported the design and construction of college campus bookstores. Earlier in their career, Kassandra worked as a Commodity Buyer at Permasteelisa North America, procuring materials and providing logistical support for unitized curtain wall projects in Manhattan. Kassandra has also held roles at Geezeo, Sovereign Bank, First Niagara Bank, and Verizon Wireless, where they gained experience in operations management, client support, and sales. Kassandra holds an MBA degree.
Kassandra O'Brien obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Fitchburg State University. This occurred between 2021 and 2023. Prior to this, they attended Central Connecticut State University from 2008 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History. In 2005, Kassandra completed their Associate's degree in General Studies from Manchester Community College. Additionally, they have obtained certifications including ISO 13485:2016 from AAMI in September 2021 and ISO 9100:2015 from BSI in January 2021.
