Molley Qi has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Molley'smost recent position is as a Member of the CIPS Profession Steering Committee, which they began in 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Procurement at Manningham Council starting in 2019. From 2017 to 2019, Molley worked at the Australian Taxation Office as the Director of Strategic Procurement and Contracts, overseeing the management of various procurement functions and leading the Category Management team.

Before joining the Australian Taxation Office, Molley held multiple positions at the City of Melbourne, including Manager of Procurement and Category Management from 2015 to 2018, Manager of Procurement and Contracts from 2011 to 2015, and Senior Procurement Specialist from 2010 to 2011. Molley also served as the Acting Procurement Manager from 2009 to 2010 and as a Procurement Specialist from 2008 to 2009.

Molley started their career as a Senior Buyer/Buyer at General Motors from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director, Owner, and Founder of SHMILY IMP & EXP; Integrated Pty, Ltd, where they successfully built a company from zero to 300 employees within one year.

Molley's first professional role was at Nypro, a Jabil Company, where they worked as a Marketing Manager/Executive/Assistant Executive from 1998 to 2002, after graduating from university.

Molley Qi, MCIPS Chartered, CertEDC, has a diverse and comprehensive education history. In 1998, they obtained a Bachelor of Economics in International Business/Trade/Commerce from Jilin University of Finance and Economics. In 2003, they pursued a Master's degree in International Business at the University of Melbourne. Molley Qi further enhanced their skills by completing the Procurement Executive Program at Melbourne Business School in 2014. Molley obtained a Certificate in Effective Director Course from the Governance Institute of Australia in 2023. Additionally, in 2016, they received the MCIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) certification from CIPS Australasia.
