Kelly Schempp

VP, Marketing & Chief Brand Officer at Mann Center for the Performing Arts

Kelly Schempp is the current VP of Marketing & Chief Brand Officer at Mann Center for the Performing Arts. Kelly has over 8 years of experience in the field of marketing and promotions, with their most recent position being at The Walt Disney Company from July 2007 to May 2015, where they were a Marketing and Promotions Manager. In this role, Kelly provided strategic promotional and marketing support while also protecting the Disney brand. Kelly also worked with Disney and community partners to maximize marketing and promotional opportunities, as well as handling sensitive communication and station information on a confidential basis. Furthermore, Kelly executed events from roll-out to recap and was awarded the Rock Star Award and Top Video Award in 2014.

Prior to their work at The Walt Disney Company, Kelly Schempp has also been awarded the Promotion’s Incentive Award in 2012 and 2014. Kelly developed advertising, marketing, publicity, and media partnerships to enhance marketing awareness and implemented marketing plans that consistently exceeded local and national client goals. As a project manager and liaison between our local office and corporate headquarters, Kelly was responsible for all artwork creation, collateral requests, marketing materials, press releases, insurance requests, artist bookings, and talent contracts. Kelly also protected and upheld all Walt Disney Company brand guidelines and vetted all marketing pieces through our corporate office for approval.

In addition to their corporate experience, Kelly Schempp has also recruited, hired, trained, and managed the Promotions Department including part time employees, independent contractors, multicultural team, and the Promotions Coordinator. Furthermore, they have strategically planned and executed more than 150 successful events annually while simultaneously selling on-air, on-line, and on-site experiential marketing concepts for Radio Disney including Disney Channel, Disney Junior, and Disney XD brands - resulting in just under $1 Million in local revenue for the station. Lastly, Kelly has also served as Chief Operator in compliance with all FCC and EEO requirements.

Kelly Schempp's educational career includes a BA in Business Administration and Marketing from Immaculata University, as well as certification from Traliant in Diversity, Inclusion, & Sensitivity V3.3. Kelly is also certified from FEMA in Emergency Management Institute - Active Shooter Crisis Training.

Kelly Schempp works with Justin Dudzinski - Regional Operations Manager, Live Nation, Destiny Bugg - Manager of Board of Director Relations & the President's Office, and Toby Blumenthal - VP of Artistic Planning & Chief Innovation Officer. Kelly Schempp reports to Catherine M. Cahill, President & CEO. Some direct reports include Peggy Fioretti - Digital Marketing Manager, Jenna Brower - Marketing Manager, and Phil Welcome - Creative Manager.
