Paul Whitworth

SVP, Inventory Management Solutions at Manheim

Paul Whitworth is the senior vice president of Inventory Management Solutions at Cox Automotive, which includes the Kelley Blue Book Instant Cash Offer and vAuto brands. In this role, he ensures that automotive retailers have access to the solutions they need to navigate the industry’s shifting supply, demand and price dynamics to manage their inventory efficiently and profitably.

Whitworth has been at the forefront of advancements in automotive retail technology his entire career. Most recently, he served as senior vice president, General Manager Kelley Blue Book, where he transformed ICO into the leading consumer vehicle sourcing solution, expanded KBB into vehicle service and dealer reviews, and led our OEM advertising business. Previously Paul led Dealertrack DMS where he applied his background in strategic planning, market research and brand development to drive the business strategy for Cox Automotive's dealer management system. Prior, he served as vice president of business operations for Retail Solutions at Cox Automotive, helping lead the formation and integration of the group following multiple acquisitions including VinSolutions, vAuto, Xtime and Dealertrack.

Prior to joining Cox Automotive, Whitworth held several automotive strategy and technology management positions. They include director of strategic planning at Hyundai Motor America, vice president of the information services group at Reynolds and Reynolds, and analyst and strategy consulting project manager for J.D. Power and Associates and Accenture.

Whitworth holds Master of Science degrees in engineering and technology policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he studied the impact of new technologies in the automotive sector such as consumer adoption of in-vehicle navigation and information systems and other early mobility technologies. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts and Science in civil engineering from the University of Toronto.
