Jen Shirley is an accomplished Drama Curriculum Specialist at The Juilliard School since February 2020, with extensive experience in theater education. Since 2010, Jen has served as the Director of the Youth Company Acting Lab at MCC Theater, where teaching and directing an off-Broadway production of "UnCensored" are key responsibilities. Additionally, Jen has been a Teaching Artist for Lincoln Center Theater, covering various programs, including those for high school and English language learners, since 2006. Previous roles include a Teaching Artist at Brooklyn Academy of Music, Co-Founder of Creative Stages NYC, and teaching positions at Professional Performing Arts School, Enact, Stages of Learning, and Pittsburgh Public Theater, demonstrating a strong commitment to integrating drama into education. Jen holds an MFA from The Institute for Advanced Theater Training at Harvard University and a Bachelor's degree in Theater from Sarah Lawrence College.
