Peter Casson, CISSP, CISM, CISA, is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as Director at Mandiant, where advisory services are provided to NYC Cyber Command's executive leadership. With over two decades of experience at the FBI, Peter has led investigations into cyber incidents involving state-sponsored actors and criminal intrusions, managing technical teams engaged in network traffic analysis and forensics. Peter's law enforcement career also includes significant roles in investigating international organized crime and narcotics trafficking. Prior experience in the U.S. Coast Guard involved inspections and investigations. Peter holds a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity from Fordham University and an Executive Certification from Carnegie Mellon University.
