John Hultquist has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and intelligence analysis. John started their career in the US Army Reserve as a Civil Affairs Sergeant from 1999 to 2010. After that, they worked for the US Government as a Senior Intelligence Analyst from 2006 to 2010. In 2010, they joined iSIGHT Partners as the Director of Cyber Espionage Analysis until 2017. From 2018 onwards, John founded two organizations: CYBERWARCON and SLEUTHCON. John was then appointed as the Vice President of Intelligence Analysis at Mandiant (now part of Google Cloud) from 2017 to 2023, and they currently hold the position of Chief Analyst there. Additionally, John is also an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University since 2019 and at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) since 2022.
