Frederick Pelser is an experienced security professional with a robust background in hospitality and law enforcement. Currently serving as the Director of Security for Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group since September 2018, Pelser previously held the role of Director of Security at Jumeirah Group from January 2013 to August 2018, where oversight of global emergency and crisis management policies was a key responsibility. Prior to that, Pelser was the Director of Security at Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, managing safety strategies during pre-opening phases. Pelser began their career in the South African Police Service as a Warrant Officer after graduating from the South African Police College.
