Ignacio Carranza Guisado is a CAE Manager at Managing Composites since October 2021, specializing in the development of numerical methodologies for structural components made of advanced composite materials across various industries, including automotive, aerospace, and marine. Previously, Ignacio served as a Stress Engineer at Hyundai Motorsport GmbH, where responsibility included developing robust numerical models for vehicle structural components under race conditions and ensuring compliance with FIA regulations. Ignacio's career also includes a role as a Research Engineer at McLaren Automotive Ltd, focusing on predicting the response of components under crushing conditions, and a research project at Williams Martini Racing involving the simulation and testing of composite structures for impact protection in Formula 1 cars. Ignacio holds an Engineering Doctorate in Micro and Nano-Materials from the University of Surrey and a Master of Science in Advanced Lightweight Structures from Cranfield University, along with a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Sevilla.
