Ilkhom Khodjakulov's work experience begins in 2001 with the United Nations Development Programme, where they held the position of Project Manager until 2008. From there, they joined Ferrostaal AG (MAN Ferrostaal AG) as a Project Manager until 2013. In 2013, they moved to MTB AG as an Area Manager. Most recently, in 2018, they joined MAN Truck & Bus SE as a Regional Sales Director.

Ilkhom Khodjakulov completed their Master's degree in World Economy and International Economic Relations from the University of World Economy & Diplomacy from 1995 to 2001.
