Attila Kovács is a quantitative developer at Man AHL since March 2023, with a strong background in mathematical modeling and computational techniques. Previous roles include research associate positions at the University of Oxford and Cardiff University, where Attila focused on modeling air purifiers to mitigate COVID-19 and explored various pandemic mitigation measures. Attila has also contributed to consultancy projects with companies like W. L. Gore & Associates, Novo Nordisk, and GRUNDFOS, developing mathematical models and algorithms for industry applications. Academic experience includes teaching roles at the University of Oxford's Mathematical Institute, covering a range of mathematical topics. Attila holds a PhD in Industrially Focused Mathematical Modelling from the University of Oxford, alongside degrees in Engineering Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering from University of Bristol and Budapest University of Technology and Economics, respectively.
