Mr. Danny Ward has been a professional in the Oil and Gas industry for 38 years. During his tenure in the sector, which began in 1974, Mr. Ward has worked in numerous capacities within the oilfield service industry including but not limited to sales, service, and management in various capacities. Some of the more recent accomplishments of Mr. Ward include his time spent with Drilex Systems in which his responsibilities grew from local sales and marketing of down hole tools to President of South American Operations. Mr. Ward worked for Drilex Systems from 1989-1996, during which time, he was responsible for the development of the Western United States regional platform. On the heels of the success of Mr. Ward’s development of his US territory, in which Amoco was one of his larger customers, he was asked to expand Drilex’s footprint to include South America in which he was responsible for start up operations. In 1997 Mr. Ward joined Daily Directional Services in which his primary responsibilities included the start up of directional drilling operations in the Mid-Continent United States. Shortly after successfully building out the operational footprint, Daily Directional Services was acquired by Weatherford, where he worked until 2002. In 2002 Mr. Ward joined Quantum Drilling Motors as the Chief Operating Officer in which he was responsible for operations in which sales grew from $2MM/year in 2002 to $20MM/year in 2005. In 2006 Quantum was sold to Diamondback Energy Services/Great White LLC (a Wexford Company), in which Mr. Ward was responsible for leading the directional drilling division through an aggressive growth strategy that through acquisition (DDC Appalachians) and organic growth increased top line revenue to $108MM by 2008. In 2011 Mr. Ward was actively involved in the filing of the S-1, during which time Archer acquired Great White. Mr. Ward, acting in his capacity as President of Great White’s drilling division, has had direct oversight of operations in which sales are approaching an annual run rate in excess of $225MM while managing approximately 90 kits and support equipment. Mr. Ward brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Panther Drilling Systems.
