James Smith is an experienced hospitality professional currently serving as Housekeeping Manager at Malmaison since April 2023. Previously, James held various positions at Grantley Hall, including Deputy Head Housekeeper, Head Butler, and roles in Front Office, contributing as part of the Pre-Opening team. James has extensive experience as a freelance butler for UHNW clients and has held senior roles at The Arts Club and The Lanesborough. Additionally, James started at The Arts Club during its pre-opening phase and has experience in food and beverage service at Raithwaite Estate and The Bay Hotel. James holds a BBA in Aviation Operations with a focus on Onboard Passenger Services from Leeds Aviation Academy and a BBA in Travel and Tourism from Scarborough Sixth Form College.
