Karen Mulitalo currently serves as the Program Director for the developing Physician Assistant (PA) program at Utah Valley University since April 2019 and is also the Coordinator of Pacific Islander Healthcare Community Outreach for the University of Utah School of Medicine. Additional roles include serving as a Physician Assistant Certified at Maliheh Free Clinic since October 2019 and previously as the Program Director for the University of Utah Physician Assistant Program from March 2014 to June 2018. Karen's extensive experience in PA education includes positions such as Associate Director of the Physician Assistant Studies Program at the University of Florida and Program Director at The University of Queensland. Karen's academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Utah and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the same institution.
