Norma Ritchie started using Malibu Compost back in 2011 while Norma was teaching and searching for good soil to use for his community gardens and school gardens. Nothing out there in a bag was working, not even from the bulk soil yards. Norma knew that synthetic fertilizers were out of the question too. Then Norma found Malibu Compost. Norma asked the children at the school garden to grab a handful of compost, as they walked into the garden, place the compost into the soil next to their seedlings, and watered it in.

Norma asked the founder, Randy, to teach the soil class of his 4-part Victory Garden course, and they fell in love within the hour. Since then Norma has been using all of Malibu Compost's soil products on all the grounds of his estate management company with much success and will continue to do so.
