Karl Burkett is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in the transportation sector. As a partner at Maldonado-Burkett, LLP since January 2007, Karl Burkett has focused on intelligent transportation systems, including traffic signals, roadway illumination, and communications systems. Prior to this, Karl Burkett served as an engineer at Karl A. Burkett and Associates, Inc. since November 2005, providing transportation electrical engineering and expert witness services. Karl Burkett's earlier experience includes a 25-year tenure as an electrical engineer at TxDOT from November 1980 to November 2005. Karl Burkett earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas between 1982 and 1988.
