Clarence Chai currently serves as the Head of Regional Client Coverage at Maybank, focusing on ASEAN and North Asia since May 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Director of Wholesale Corporate Marketing at OCBC Bank from 2019 to 2022, and as Associate Director for Consumer & Industrials Asia in Institutional Banking at National Australia Bank from 2013 to 2019. Clarence Chai was also a Vice President at Citi, leading the Core Relationships team in the Global Subsidiaries Group from 2008 to 2013, and served as a Senior Relationship Manager at United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) from 2004 to 2008. Academic credentials include dual degrees in Accounting and Finance, and Marketing, both awarded with Summa cum Laude honors from Singapore Management University, along with education at Hwa Chong Junior College.
