Imran Patel has worked in the IT industry since 2015. Imran began their career as a Network Field Engineer at 1PV6, then moved to Amazon as an IT Support Technician in 2018. That same year, they joined TFM Networks Ltd as a Technical Support Engineer. Imran is currently employed at Mako Networks as a Solutions Architect.

Imran Patel has a diverse educational background, having studied Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications at the Cisco Networking Academy, Easa B1 Aircraft Maintenance at the City of Bristol College, Aerospace Engineering at Coventry University, and attended Sidney Stringer. Imran has also obtained a number of certifications, including the Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching (CCNP-RS) in January 2020, the Citrix Certified Administrator for Citrix SD-WAN in August 2019, the Ruckus WiSE in October 2018, the SDWAN eXpert Certification in April 2019, the Technical Sales Professional - SDWAN in September 2018, the Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching), and the Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security).
