Zaib Husain has extensive work experience in finance. Zaib began their career in 1998 as an Investment Analyst at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas. In 1999, they joined Enron as a Financial Analyst in the Commercial Transactions Group. In 2001, they moved to Dun & Bradstreet as a member of the Finance Department. Zaib then returned to Enron in the same year as a Lead Financial Analyst in the Asset Restructuring group. In 2011, they founded AM Networks and served as the CFO. In 2014, they founded Makerarm, a complete personal fabrication system, and served as the Founder. In 2015, they joined GlobalAustin as the Finance Chair of the Board of Directors. Most recently, in 2017, they became a National Foundation STEM Advisory Board Member for the Boy Scouts of America.
Zaib Husain attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance, with a minor in Accounting and Marketing. Zaib then completed the Financial Analyst Program at The University of Texas at Austin in 1998 and 1999. Lastly, they earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Financial Management from the University of London in 2007 and 2009.
