Melissa Henderson worked as the Director of Finance at the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Texas Gulf Coast & Louisiana starting in February 2009. Before that, they were an Assurance Manager at Grant Thornton from July 1998 to October 2006.

Melissa Henderson completed their Master of Science degree in Accounting from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. Melissa attended the program from 1993 to 1998.
