Sean Lawrence, CAIA, currently serves as the Head of Business Development & Investor Relations at Makaira Partners LLC, a boutique investment partnership focused on managing a concentrated public equity portfolio since January 2023. Prior to this role, Sean was an Investor Relations Associate at Kawa Capital Management, where involvement included credit multi-strategy funds and private investments. Sean's earlier experience includes positions at the University of Miami, where responsibilities spanned premium seating and corporate development, account executive duties, and adjunct professorship in sport sales and development. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management obtained from Ithaca College, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from the same institution.
