Kyle Boomsma is an experienced transportation manager with over 15 years in the logistics and transportation industry. Currently serving as the Transportation Manager at Majestic Steel USA, Kyle has been responsible for optimizing outbound truckload and LTL shipments at a primary steel service center and other locations across the U.S., managing a $20 million annual freight spend and leading a team of five direct reports. Previously, Kyle held the position of Transportation Manager at Wastequip, overseeing logistics for 25 manufacturing sites and leading centralization efforts for the company's transportation group. Kyle also served as an Implementation Specialist at TMW Systems, where skills in software installation and training were developed. Kyle earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Transportation/Logistics from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
