Pejman Djavdan has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Pejman began their career in 1989 as a Process Control Engineer at DSM, where they worked until 1996. Pejman then moved on to become a Logistics Manager at DSM Engineering Plastics Emmen from 1996 to 1999. From 1999 to 2002, they served as a Supply Chain Manager at DSM Engineering Plastics.
In 2002, Djavdan joined DSM Licensing Center as a Licensing Manager and later became the Vice President of Stamicarbon, a licensing subsidiary of DSM. From 2005 to 2008, they held the position of Managing Director at DSM Licensing Center.
In 2008, Djavdan transitioned to Stamicarbon as the President, managing a team of 70 professionals for licensing and designing fertilizer plants worldwide. Pejman was then appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Stamicarbon in 2009, a position in which they maintained until their departure in 2010.
At the same time, Djavdan joined Maire Tecnimont in 2010 as the Chairman of Maire Tecnimont Innovation Center and President of Technology. In this role, they had the responsibility for steering and directing strategic new business initiatives and overseeing the technology development and licensing business of Maire Tecnimont.
Overall, Pejman Djavdan has obtained a vast range of experience in various roles within the chemical engineering industry, demonstrating their expertise in leadership, innovation, and business development.
Pejman Djavdan received a Master's degree in Process Control Engineering from Delft University of Technology in 1989. Pejman also completed a post doctorate program in Advanced Industrial Marketing at INSEAD in 2004.
