Valerie Jacobs is the Principal of Valerie Jacobs Consulting, a firm established in 1996 that specializes in assisting affluent families with wealth management strategies and philanthropic endeavors. Jacobs has extensive involvement in various philanthropic organizations, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees for Mainly Mozart and as a Board Trustee for the Jacobs Family Foundation & Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation. Previous roles include Director at the Sanders Family Philanthropic Foundation, which focuses on sustainable development for women and children in developing countries, as well as advisory positions with San Diego Grantmakers and the San Diego Women's Foundation. Jacobs holds an MA in Education: Counseling and Guidance from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and a BA in Anthropology from UC Santa Barbara.
