Brian Marden serves as the Vice President and Chief Pharmacy Officer at MaineHealth since 2017, where responsibilities include directing patient care services and offering administrative leadership for pharmacy services across the MaineHealth system. Marden previously held the position of Senior Director of Pharmacy at Maine Medical Center from 2007 to 2017, overseeing all aspects of the Pharmacy Enterprise and focusing on medication use management, quality outcomes, and safety. Earlier roles include Critical Care Pharmacy Clinician at The University of Vermont Medical Center, Critical Care Pharmacy Specialist at Boston Medical Center, and a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Resident at UMass Memorial Medical Center. Marden holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
