Jeff Brazee has extensive experience in technology and education, with their most recent position as Associate Director of Information Technology at Maine Coast Heritage Trust. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Technology at Mt. Blue Regional School District and as a Technology Applications Instructor at Minneapolis Public Schools. Jeff also worked as a Coordinator of Educational Innovation and Technology and a Technology Integration Specialist at Stillwater Area Public Schools. In addition, Jeff has held positions such as Technology Director at Freeport Public Schools & Town of Freeport/Regional School Unit No. 5, IT Consultant at EarthVectors Inc., and IT Coordinator at University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Jeff started their career as a Technology Teacher at Belle Creek Charter School and as a World Languages Teacher at Kittery School Department.
Jeff Brazee completed their education at two institutions. From 1991 to 1995, they attended Orono High School, but did not obtain a degree or focus on a specific field of study. Jeff then went on to study at Colorado College from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
In addition to their formal education, Jeff has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. In December 2015, they obtained the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (V3 - 2011) from AXELOS Global Best Practice. In August 2016, they became a Certified Education Technology Leader (CETL) through the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN). In March 2016, they completed the K12 Applying the Quality Matters Secondary Rubric certification from QM Quality Matters. Finally, in June 2019, they became a Certified Remote Pilot with small Unmanned Aircraft System (sUAS) Rating through the Federal Aviation Administration.
