Karen oversees the bank’s risk management area of commercial lending including oversight of the various support functions of underwriting and documentation, as well as portfolio monitoring and reporting. Karen has extensive experience in a variety of commercial loan underwriting and associated roles in Eastern and Central Massachusetts.

After starting out after college at a community bank, she worked for a number of years at growing regional and now national banks. In 2006, she returned to her community bank roots in order to continue to work to help with the financing needs of the businesses in and around the area where she lives and works. She believes in keeping decisions local, with bankers who understand the local economy and community relationships, which ultimately serves to help us all improve the communities which we care so deeply about.
