María Castro Peñas has a diverse work experience in the field of supply chain management. María is currently working at MAHLE SmartBike Systems as the Lead of Supply Chain, a position they have held since September 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Supply Chain Planner at the same company from August 2022 to September 2023.

Before joining MAHLE SmartBike Systems, María worked at Adler Pelzer Group as a Customer Contact & Master Scheduler from January 2022 to August 2022.

María also has experience at Faurecia, where they held the positions of Customer Contact & Master Scheduler from September 2020 to January 2022 and Material Planner from December 2016 to September 2020. María also completed an internship as a PC&L Intern at Faurecia from July 2016 to November 2016.

María's earlier work experience includes a role as a Pépinière at STEF from December 2015 to June 2016, and an internship as Prácticas Universitarias del Máster de Logística at Michelin from March 2015 to August 2015.

María began their professional career with internships at the Universidad de Valladolid, where they worked as a Beca Colaboración Servicio Relaciones Internacionales from October 2012 to March 2015, and from February 2010 to September 2010.

María Castro Peñas completed the Programa ThePowerMBA at thePower in 2020, specializing in Business Expert - Administración y Dirección de Empresas. María also obtained a Master's degree in Logistics from the Universidad de Valladolid from 2014 to 2015. Additionally, María has a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) from 2010 to 2011 and another Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad de Valladolid from 2005 to 2012.
